This short gorilla and wildlife trip highlights gorilla tracking, beautiful country side and safari, a stop over at the equator, safari at Lake Mburo national park, Uganda's smallest but richest savanna park you will be able to encounter animals like giraffes, zebras, topis, elands, impalas and warthogs. From here we will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through the great Kigezi region famous for its rolling hills as you mood up for the great mountain gorillas is all an unforgettable experience.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Transfer from Entebbe airport to lake mburo national park, Stop over at the equator

Visitors who arrive in the morning will be transferred immediately to lake mburo national park, we normally stop at the equator for stretching, breakfast, toilet use, and breakfast, if you stayed in entebbe after arrival, then you should have taken breakfast at the hotel.

From here we drive through a beautiful country side, Vast grazing lands, chances of meeting the Ankole long horned cattle is high, that is a free complementally.

on arrival at the park we will enjoy a game drive before checking in, expect to spot various giraffes, hippos, errands, buffalos, impalas, zebras and so many birds, after the game drive we drive to the lodge for dinner and over night stay.

DAY 2

Morning walking safari and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

A walking safari is the only way you can get up close to wildlife, many animals that would be sacred by the noise of the can feel more comfortable with a silent encounter.

Walking safaris involve armed rangers who will must ensure your safety, forget 100m photos, on a walking safari you will get as close as possible as long as you obey the required distance from wildlife.

Take lots of photos at your pace, get close to nature and mingle, after the safari, we will be waiting for you to transfer to bwindi impenetrable forest national park meanwhile awaiting our big day the next morning, we will have our lunch en route and do some shopping in Kabale then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.

DAY 3

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park

We will wake up very early to take breakfast. Our guide will pick you and take you to the park offices where you will be briefed and given information regarding tracking gorillas.

You will be assigned a gorilla group and given an opportunity to hire a porter at a cost of 15USD. Your lodge should arrange for you packed lunch and drinking water.

Gorilla trekking takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family that particular day. Once you spot the gorillas, take as many photos as you can and try to follow instructions from the wardens/guides.

After completing the trek, we will visit the batwa Village in Rushaga to learn about the life of these indigenous persons, expect entertainment and stories, experience their cultures and get a glimpse into their life after eviction from the forest.

Thereafter transfer back to the lodge, We will also have a bonfire if you like sitting outside and watching the stars at the edge of the thick jungle.

DAY 4

Transfer back to Entebbe international airport

It's always sad to say bye, this day we will emotionally let you decide on whether you want to go back home of extend your stay with us, we will have our last breakfast, before embarking on scenic journey towards Entebbe.

We will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and other photo stopovers, If you are scheduled that night we head directly to the airport and if you have more time we take you to your hotel and your next adventure will start from there.
