Kigali, Volcanoes National Park

In the morning, embark on a guided city tour exploring Kigali’s key historical and cultural landmarks. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to gain a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s past.

After enjoying lunch in the capital, we continue our journey to Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda’s most breathtaking national park. This diverse landscape boasts rich montane ecosystems featuring lush bamboo forests, open grasslands, and scenic wetlands, offering a truly immersive experience of Rwanda’s natural beauty.

DAY 2

Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes national park

Today, you will have the opportunity to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas. You will make a beautiful hike through the green landscape and hills of the Virunga Volcanoes. Spend a magical hour with these amazing creatures while your guide explains more about the family and their behavior.

In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Iby'Iwacu, located in the shadows of the Virunga Volcanoes. Here, reformed poachers showcase the traditional Rwandan way of life.

Volcanoes National Park, Kigali and Departure

After the visit, continue your journey to Kigali with a packed lunch. Depending on your international flight schedule, you will be dropped off at Kigali International Airport for departure.
