Detailed Itinerary
Arrival at Entebbe international airport
On arrival at the airport, our guide will welcome you and brief you about your upcoming trip in Uganda. You will later Drive to the lodge a few meters from the airport for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
While at the lodge you can share more insights about Uganda and the upcoming six days in the wild.
Transfer to Murchison falls national park
After morning breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive to Murchison falls national park through Masindi via journey of 300 kms and this normally takes 5-6 hours.
Lunch enroute in Masindi town and thereafter head to the park via the Kichumbanyobo gate, we shall then continue to the lodge to relax as we prepare for further exploration of the park the next day.
Explore Murchison falls national park
After an early morning warm up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like: lions , leopards, giraffes, Oribis, elephants, Jackson's hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes among other animal and bird species.
You will then return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation.
Hot air balloon
It's at Paraa that all will assemble to start your journey to the starting point of your balloon. You and the pilots will all be transported to the starting point where the balloons are assembled.
Once all this is done, you will be briefed by the pilots about the activity, get on board and start your hot air balloon safari. While on board, you expect to see so many animals, a magnificent sunrise and the Arial view of the park and the Nile River.
This activity normally takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. After the activity, you will be awarded with certificates and then treated with a full bush breakfast.
Game Drive
After breakfast in the morning, you will take on another game drive to the park for another game drive in search of animals.
You will drive through the diverse savanna vegetation of Murchison falls national park spotting animals like lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many others.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for another activity in the evening.
Later in the evening, you will take a guided nature walk around the park near a few minutes from the lodge.
Return back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner an overnight.
Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe
After your morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe to your lodge/airport as you encounter the beautiful sceneries of Uganda through the hills and flat lands as you exit Gulu.
