Fantastic 3-night Primate Trip
Musana Tour & Travel handled the tour very professionally, from the first initial email enquiry reply by Richard, the pickup at Kigali, drive to Uganda and all the parks, and drop-off back at Kigali by Denis. The main targets were Gorillas, Golden Monkeys and Chimpanzees, but we had many other pleasant surprises which Denis made sure that we encountered eg the Three-horned Chameleon (both M & F!), the huge horned Ankole-Watusi cattle, etc. The lodges recommended were great. Trips between the parks and Kigali can take many hours but the beauty of the mountains of Uganda (except for the many speed bumps haha!) and Rwanda made up for it. Thank you Denis and Richard for an exceptional and enjoyable trip.

Incredible private tour
I recently went on a safari tour that exceeded all my expectations! It was custom made and I visited three different parks. The guide (Richard) was incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and fun, sharing insights about the wildlife. We saw an amazing variety of animals, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and of course gorillas, all in their natural habitat. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was delicious. Each day was well-planned, allowing us to maximize our wildlife viewing opportunities. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to connect with nature and experience the thrill of a safari!

Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Unfortunately Mixed with a Slow Lake Bunyonyi Stay
Tracking and seeing gorillas up close was an amazing experience, deserving a 5-star rating. Bweza Gorilla Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was spectacular, and the staff were fantastic. Our guide, Richard, was insightful and engaging throughout the trip.

However, two issues affected the experience: 1. A last-minute change to stay at Lake Bunyonyi on Day 2 instead of Bweza, causing us to rush our gorilla trekking. As it turns out, the resort was a step down to the Bweza 2. Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort was disappointing with a slanted room, poor food, and subpar activities compared to Bwindi. I would have preferred visiting the Golden Monkeys in Mgahinga National Park, which is now part of a new tour package offered by the company.

East Africa
We had two weeks starting in Kigali November 28 and ended in Entebbe December 11. Richard our guide picked us up in Kigali and we had a cocktail of adventures and also options. Game drive in Queen Elisabeth NP. Gorilla, chimps and shoebill trekking but the main reason for East Africa was Rwenzori mountains and climbing Margherita Peak 5109m. We where supported with 15 porters, one chef and three guides on our seven days hike. Amazing views in different zones. It was a great adventure and we all came up on the summit. I can strongly recommend Richard and Musana Tours and Travel for your adventure in East Africa.
