Arrival to Kigali International Airport, Spend a night in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist with your luggage and provide a brief introduction to your upcoming adventure. Kigali, known for its cleanliness, safety, and vibrant culture, offers a perfect start to your family safari.
From the airport, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your selected family-friendly hotel, where you can unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore the city with a short sightseeing tour, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kimironko Market, or enjoy a relaxed dinner at one of Kigali’s renowned restaurants.
Settle in for the night at your accommodation, where you and your family can rest and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.

Transfer from Kigali to Uganda
After an early morning breakfast, guests will be picked up and transferred to Uganda to begin their safari adventure. The drive from Kigali to the Uganda border covers approximately 80 kilometers and typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
As you travel through the "Land of a Thousand Hills," enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, terraced landscapes, and picturesque countryside. Your driver-guide will make occasional stops for photo opportunities, allowing you to capture the stunning scenery. On a clear day, you may even be treated to spectacular views of the Virunga Volcanoes. Upon arrival at the Uganda border, our driver-guide will assist with immigration procedures, ensuring a smooth and quick crossing. Once cleared, continue the 3-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Gorilla tracking in bwindi Impenetrable forest national park
After an early morning breakfast, clients will be given their packed lunch from the lodge and driven to the briefing point in the park, where they will check in and have a briefing. The briefing starts at 8:00 a.m., but clients are expected to be there by 7:20 a.m. to catch up with the early morning entertainment.
After briefing, clients and their ranger guide start their activity as they trek through the impenetrable forest in search of the gorillas. Trekking may take 4 hours or more, depending on where the gorillas last slept at night. The trackers are given 1 hour to take photos and learn more about the gorillas' behaviors. They will then trek back to the office for their graduation ceremony and will be awarded gorilla tracking certificates.
Check out of your lodge and drive to Lake Bunyonyi for your afternoon relaxation or an afternoon canoe or boat ride at the lake of many birds. You will check in at the lodge and then proceed with any scheduled activity.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer From Bwindi impeterable Forest National park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the picturesque hills of Kigezi, renowned for their breathtaking, fog-covered landscapes.
Along the journey, enjoy scenic views and stop at notable attractions such as the Karegyeya Hanging Rocks, Kitagata Hot Springs, lush tea plantations, and stunning crater lakes dotting the roadside. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing at the lodge or opting for an evening game drive, where you may spot wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators emerging for the night.
Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, preparing for more adventures ahead.

Game drives in the kasenyi Plains and boat safari on Kazinga channel
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park for your morning game drive, which offers the chance to encounter various wildlife, including lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, kobs, and a rich diversity of birds. The 4-hour game drive will take you through the Kasenyi Plains, allowing you to explore more of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the second-largest savannah park in Uganda.
Following the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and enjoy some relaxation time. In the afternoon, proceed to Mweya or the Kazinga Channel for a boat launch on the river. As you cruise along the channel, you will have the opportunity to observe wildlife up close, with animals like hippos and crocodiles and monitor lizards frequently spotted along the shores. The lake also attracts numerous water birds, adding to the excitement of the boat ride.
After the boat ride, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s incredible wildlife encounters.

Transfer to Kibale forest National Park
After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park (Fort Portal), located 150 km away, which takes about 2-3 hours by road. Along the way, you will stop near the Equator Line for a simple experiment and the chance to capture some memorable photos.
Continue your drive through Kasese town, with stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance. Upon arrival at Kibale Forest National Park, check in at your lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge before settling in for the night, preparing for the exciting adventures ahead.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Community Experience
After an early breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch and water for the day’s adventure. Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for registration and briefing. Following the briefing, you will be assigned to a tracking group and paired with a ranger guide who will lead you through the forest in search of the chimpanzees. Along the way, you may encounter a variety of other primates and bird species that inhabit the forest.
The trek will take approximately 2-5 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. Once found, you will have 1 hour to observe and photograph the chimps, studying their behavior, feeding habits, and social interactions in their natural environment.
After tracking, you will return to the lodge to refresh and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, head to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a 2-3 hour nature walk, where you can explore the rich biodiversity of this unique area. Return to your lodge in the evening to refresh, followed by a leisurely evening to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, you will begin your transfer from Kibale Forest National Park to Entebbe International Airport. The drive covers approximately 320 km and takes 5-6 hours, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way.
Your guide will ensure a smooth and comfortable journey, with brief stops if needed for refreshments or photo opportunities. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be assisted with check-in and any final formalities before your departure, concluding your memorable Ugandan safari experience.
