Average Rainfall
Kenya has diverse climatic regions. In Nairobi, the capital, the average annual rainfall is around 800 mm (31 inches). Coastal areas, like Mombasa, receive more rainfall, with an average annual rainfall of approximately 1,000 mm to 1,500 mm (39 to 59 inches).
Arid and semi-arid regions in the north and east receive less rainfall, often below 500 mm (20 inches) annually.
Average Temperatures
The average temperatures in Kenya vary with geography and altitude. In Nairobi, which is at an elevation of around 1,795 meters (5,889 feet), average daytime temperatures range from 10°C to 26°C (50°F to 79°F).
Coastal areas are generally warmer, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 31°C (75°F to 88°F). In the northern arid regions, temperatures can be even higher.
Climate
Kenya's climate varies from tropical on the coastline to arid in the interior, with cooler temperatures in the highlands. The country has two rainy seasons: the long rains from March to May and the short rains from October to December. These are interspersed with dry periods.

The capital city of Kenya is Nairobi. It is the largest city in Kenya and serves as the country's economic, political, and cultural hub.
Population
As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Kenya had a population of approximately 54 million people. Please note that population figures may have changed since then due to natural population growth.
Culture
Kenya is a diverse country with more than 40 ethnic groups, each contributing to the rich tapestry of Kenyan culture. The culture is heavily influenced by traditional customs, music, dance, and art.
The Maasai, Kikuyu, Luo, and Kamba are some of the prominent ethnic groups, each with its own unique traditions and languages. English and Swahili are the official languages, with Swahili being widely spoken.
